Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering excellent customer service in a lively hospitality environment. This role involves preparing and serving beverages, maintaining a clean and welcoming bar area, and ensuring guests have an enjoyable experience. Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred, but full training will be provided for the right candidate. The position offers an opportunity to develop your hospitality skills within a dynamic team.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with company standards
Take orders from customers efficiently and accurately, ensuring prompt service
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces
Check identification to verify legal drinking age and adhere to food safety regulations
Handle cash transactions accurately and operate the till system
Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth service during busy periods
Engage with customers in a friendly manner to create a welcoming atmosphere
Follow health and safety procedures at all times, including responsible alcohol service

Requirements

Previous experience in hospitality or food service is advantageous but not essential as training will be provided
Strong knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices
Excellent serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
Good organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts
Basic maths skills for handling transactions and calculating bills accurately
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Friendly, approachable manner with good communication skills
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as required
