Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation and organisation of building sites, ensuring safety and efficiency.
- Support skilled tradespeople in tasks involving hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment.
- Learn and perform bricklaying, masonry, carpentry, roofing, and welding tasks under supervision.
- Help with the installation of structural components and finishing work.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Carry out basic measurements and assist with material handling as directed.
- Participate in training sessions to develop technical skills and industry knowledge.
Experience
- No prior experience necessary; training will be provided on-site.
- Basic familiarity with hand tools, power tools, or previous exposure to construction environments is advantageous but not essential.
- A keen interest in masonry, carpentry, roofing, or welding is desirable.
- Willingness to learn new skills and undertake physical tasks as part of a team.
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail are beneficial for progressing within the role.
