Hours: Monday-Friday | 10:00am - 6:00pm

With ambitious growth plans, new services, business acquisitions and continued investment across the group, we are looking for an exceptional Group Finance Manager to become a key member of our Senior Management Team.
This is far more than a traditional finance role. You'll be a trusted advisor to the CEO, helping to shape commercial strategy, influence major business decisions and build the financial foundations that will support our long-term growth.

The Opportunity
As Group Finance Manager, you'll oversee the financial performance of multiple businesses across the group while working closely with senior leaders to drive profitability, improve operational efficiency and support sustainable growth.

Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Financial Leadership
- Provide commercial financial insight, forecasting and modelling to support business growth.
- Partner with the CEO and Senior Management Team to influence strategic decision-making.
- Identify opportunities to improve profitability, operational efficiency and commercial performance.
- Support acquisitions, new business ventures and service development.
- Deliver meaningful financial analysis that enables confident business decisions.
Financial Control & Governance
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management and financial planning across the group.
- Maintain strong financial controls and governance across all businesses.
- Support acquisitions through financial due diligence, valuations, risk analysis and integration planning.
- Build and maintain relationships with banks, lenders and external financial partners.
- Prepare funding proposals and support future investment opportunities.
- Ensure accurate, timely and meaningful financial reporting for senior leadership.
Operational Leadership
- Work alongside operational managers to improve financial performance across each business.
- Drive improvements in finance systems, automation and reporting.
- Support business planning, investment proposals and Board reporting.
- Ensure financial operations remain compliant with regulatory, contractual and governance requirements.
Stakeholder Management
- Build strong working relationships across the organisation and with external stakeholders.
- Present financial information in a clear and commercially meaningful way to non-finance colleagues.
- Represent the finance function at Senior Management Team meetings.
- Support a culture of accountability, continuous improvement and commercial awareness.
Safeguarding & Compliance

- Promote and uphold the Group's safeguarding policies.
- Ensure financial decisions support safe, effective and person-centred services.
- Participate in safeguarding training and report concerns appropriately.
About You
We're looking for someone who combines technical excellence with commercial thinking.
You are likely to have experience as a:
- Group Finance Manager
- Financial Controller
- Finance Business Partner
- Senior Finance Manager
You'll also bring:
Essential
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified (or equivalent).
- Significant senior finance experience within a multi-site or group environment.
- Strong commercial awareness and strategic thinking.
- Experience partnering with senior leaders to influence business decisions.
- Excellent budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management skills.
- Advanced Excel and financial systems knowledge.
- Outstanding communication skills with the ability to simplify complex financial information.
Desirable
- Experience supporting acquisitions or business growth.
- Background within health, social care, education or another regulated environment.
- Experience improving finance systems and operational processes.
