About Us

Kahiki Soundhouse is Manchester's newest late-night entertainment destination, bringing together live music, duelling pianos, karaoke rooms, DJs and immersive hospitality experiences in the heart of the Northern Quarter.

We're looking for an enthusiastic and confident Venue Promoter to become the face of the business, helping introduce guests to everything Kahiki Soundhouse has to offer.

The Role

You'll be positioned outside the venue, engaging with passers-by, creating excitement and converting interest into customers. Whether it's explaining our free karaoke offer, live entertainment schedule, cocktail promotions or private hire experiences, your goal is simple – get people through the door.

This is a proactive sales role. We need someone who enjoys speaking to new people, thrives on a challenge and doesn't give up after the first "no".

What You'll Be Doing

Approaching potential guests in a friendly and professional manner
Explaining the unique experiences available at Kahiki Soundhouse, including live music, duelling pianos, karaoke rooms and promotions
Encouraging guests to visit the venue and increasing walk-in trade
Building rapport quickly and adapting your approach to different people
Creating a memorable first impression and representing the Kahiki brand to the highest standard
Working closely with management to stay informed on upcoming events and offers

What We're Looking For

A confident, outgoing personality with plenty of energy
Someone who is highly presentable and takes pride in being the face of the venue
Excellent communication and people skills
A resilient, persistent attitude and a determination to succeed
The confidence to approach strangers and start conversations naturally
The ability to think on your feet and tailor your pitch to different audiences
Previous experience in sales, promotions, hospitality or customer-facing roles would be advantageous, but is not essential
