Full job description

We are looking for an organised and proactive part-time Finance & Purchase Ledger Administrator to join our growing team.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in getting the detail right, and wants to be part of a friendly, ambitious business where they can genuinely make a difference.

Working closely with the leadership team, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day finance administration of the business, ensuring supplier invoices, purchase ledger and financial records are managed accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Processing supplier invoices and maintaining the purchase ledger
Reconciling supplier statements and resolving invoice queries
Preparing payment runs
Supporting the finance team with month-end administration
Raising purchase orders and maintaining accurate financial records
Assisting with expenses and general finance administration
Liaising with suppliers and internal departments
Providing wider administrative support where required

Experience

Has previous experience in a finance or purchase ledger role
Is highly organised with excellent attention to detail
Is confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Can prioritise their workload and meet deadlines
Has excellent communication skills
Enjoys working as part of a collaborative team
Takes ownership and has a proactive approach
Experience with finance software would be an advantage
