Full job description

R & R C Bond

Bond International is the largest independent tyre wholesaler and one of the fastest growing businesses in the UK, with our Head Office based in Pocklington.

We are looking for a Team Leader to Lead our Credit Controller team based at Head Office in Pocklington.

Hours:-

Monday – Friday Rota - 08.30am – 17.00pm, 09.30am– 17.30pm & 09.30am – 18.00pm

30 minutes for lunch

Contract: 40 hours per week

Salary £32,000-£36,000 per year (Dependant on experiance)

Job Description:

This role will involve working with the team to collect all monies owing to Bond wCrithin credit control policies and procedures to ensure that collection targets are met.

You must be able to maintain an efficient, knowledgeable and effective interface with customers, colleagues and external third parties at all times, resolve customer queries and collect payments within credit terms whilst maintaining and enhancing hard won customer relationships. Ensure that duties are carried out within set time limits whilst providing an excellent level of service to Bond customers and colleagues.

The Credit Control Team Leader’s duties include:

· Performing monthly 1:1’s

· Processing customers monthly direct debits (cover)

· Producing monthly statements for customers

· Reviewing debtor list

· Point of escalation for Credit Controllers

· Mentor current credit control team and improve ability levels through training and development

· Chasing debt by telephone and email and reducing debtor days

· Liaising with the Telesales team and accounts receivable teams to resolve outstanding queries

· Daily and month end reporting and account reconciliations

· Investigating and resolving queries relating to non-payment of invoices

· Any other Ad hoc duties

Requirements of the role:

· Previous supervisory experience is preferred but not essential

· A minimum of two years solid credit control experience

· This position would suit an individual who is used to working in a fast-paced environment

· A self-driven individual who is Target orientated

· You will have good Excel skills, a polite but tenacious telephone manner and good systems knowledge.
