Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise kitchen staff to ensure smooth daily operations and high-quality food production
- Prepare, cook, and present a variety of dishes in accordance with established recipes and standards
- Manage food safety protocols, hygiene standards, and cleanliness within the kitchen
- Oversee menu development and innovate new culinary offerings to enhance customer satisfaction
- Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and control food costs effectively
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff to develop their skills and ensure team cohesion
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery
- Maintain a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, professionalism, and continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a supervisory culinary role within a busy restaurant or hospitality setting
- Extensive background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in hygiene standards
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in food presentation and quality control
- Experience in menu planning, food production, and service coordination
- Previous hospitality or restaurant experience is highly desirable
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure while maintaining high standards of service
