Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join an IFA firm as an Administrator, responsible for providing administrative support to new and existing clients. In return, we offer:

Competitive salary, dependent on experience
24 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays (full-time equivalent)

About Us

We are an independent financial advice firm focused on wealth planning. We pride ourselves on delivering a professional, friendly and efficient service to our clients and are looking for a motivated individual to join our administration team.

This is an office-based role: supporting advisers and the wider team with the day-to-day administration of client services.

The Job Role

Be the first point of contact for clients, providers and other third parties by telephone, email and post.
Open, process, scan and accurately file incoming correspondence.
Save and upload documents using company procedures.
Answer incoming telephone calls, take accurate messages and direct enquiries appropriately.
Prepare and send standard client correspondence
Chase clients and providers for outstanding documentation and information.
Maintain accurate client records, contact notes and correspondence within the firm's back-office system.
Assist with diary management, appointments and follow-up reminders.
Support advisers with new and existing client administration.

Skills & Personal Qualities

We are looking for someone who:

Has excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
Has good written and verbal communication skills, particularly over the phone
Is friendly, professional and enjoys helping people.
Can work accurately while managing a varied workload.
Is reliable, proactive and willing to learn.
Can work well as part of a team.
Is comfortable using computers and Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook and Word.
Has a positive attitude and is eager to develop new skills.

Pay: £27,000.00-£32,500.00 per year
