Overall Job Purpose
To ensure inbound phones and emails are answered, and rental enquiries are converted into bookings. To provide support to the sales team and other departments within the Vehicle Group as needed.
Scope of Job
Reporting directly to the Reservations Team Leader. To ensure bookings are placed on appropriate systems accurately, and to send out and retrieve relevant paperwork where necessary. To support other departments within the Vehicle Group as needed.
Main Duties
- To ensure enquiries are converted into bookings
- To support the Sales Team and other departments with all necessary tasks.
- To ensure SLAs are adhered to, in line with business and customer requirements
- To support managing the customer accounts over the phone and update CRM system
- To build relationships with key customer & supplier accounts
- To ensure systems are updated with notes, correct booking details, including groups, rental period, and additional charges
- To retain strong relationships with suppliers, in particular Paull’s Vehicle Rental and Compello’s network
- To ensure paperwork is sent out, signed and returned in an accurate and timely manner
- To provide the optimum opportunities for Paull’s Vehicle Rental
- To work closely with other areas of the business, in particular Paull’s Vehicle Rental, Billing and Finance
- Where necessary support the back office team
- To support change within the business
- To help support the Reservations Team Leader in producing and sending the daily, weekly and monthly reports
Comply with all company rules and procedures especially those relating to health & safety, regulatory compliance and data protection with an obligation to remain informed and up-to-date on all such matters.
Skills Required
Excellent interpersonal skills, and ability to work unsupervised. Good phone manner. Attention to detail. Ability to think on your feet and to work under pressure.
Experience
Ideally, but not essential, at least 2 years’ experience in a busy customer service environment.
Qualifications
Ideally, but not essential, knowledge and understanding of the rental market.
Pay: £27,000.00 per year
