Harry Maiden Ltd is a 5th generation family owned steel fabrication company based in Montrose, Scotland. Established over 100 years ago, we deliver high quality steel fabrication, structural steelwork and engineering solutions across a range of industries.
We are looking to recruit an experienced Site Manager to lead the successful delivery of our site projects at a key Pharmaceutical Site .
The Role
This is a key leadership position within the business.
The role will be based predominantly at a major pharmaceutical manufacturing site in Montrose, where you will act as Harry Maiden Ltd's on-site representative and primary point of contact for our client.
Working closely with our workshop, estimating and design teams, you'll ensure projects run smoothly from start to finish while building strong relationships with clients and leading our site teams.
Key Responsibilities:
· Act as Harry Maiden Ltd's primary point of contact on site.
· Lead and supervise site teams and subcontractors.
· Plan and coordinate all site activities to meet project programmes.
· Attend client meetings and progress meetings.
· Build strong working relationships with clients and principal contractors.
· Coordinate labour, materials, plant and subcontractors.
· Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.
· Organise permits to work, lifting operations and site logistics.
· Ensure RAMS are implemented and followed.
· Carry out site safety inspections, toolbox talks and quality checks.
· Work closely with our team to coordinate future work, resolve technical queries and identify additional opportunities.
· Monitor progress, report issues and drive projects through to successful completion.
· Promote a positive, professional and safety-focused culture across all site activities.

You will have:
· Experience managing steelwork, fabrication or construction projects on site.
· Excellent communication and leadership skills.
· The ability to organise multiple activities and keep projects moving.
· Experience dealing directly with clients and contractors.
· A proactive approach to problem solving.
· A strong understanding of health and safety requirements.
· Experience supervising site personnel and subcontractors.
· A full UK driving licence.
Desirable:
· SSSTS or SMSTS.
· CSCS Card.
· LOLER Planner.
· IOSH Managing Safety.
Hours:
Monday to Wednesday - 07:00- 17:30.
Thursday - 07:00 - 16:30.
Overtime when required.
