Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and versatile Tradesman to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a broad range of skills in various trades, enabling them to undertake diverse tasks within construction and maintenance projects. This role requires a hands-on approach, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Duties

Perform carpentry first and second fix work, ensuring precision and quality in all installations.
Undertake roofing projects, including repairs and installations, while adhering to safety standards.
Execute heavy lifting tasks as required, ensuring proper techniques are used to prevent injury.
Engage in construction painting, providing a professional finish to various surfaces.
Conduct minor plumbing tasks, including installation and repair of piping systems.
Perform masonry work such as bricklaying and stonework to enhance structural integrity, rendering and plastering.
Tiling wall and floor finishes.

Skills

Strong experience with hand tools and power tools for various applications.
Knowledgeable in carpentry and joinery principles with an eye for detail.
Familiarity with roofing, roofing materials and installation methods.
Capability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively.
Competent in painting & decorating techniques for both interior and exterior projects.
Understanding of minor basic plumbing systems and ability to troubleshoot common issues.
Skilled in masonry practices, ensuring durability and aesthetic appeal in work completed.
