Are you a confident, customer-focused individual with a passion for theatre and live events?

We’re looking for a Box Office Assistant to join our dynamic team at the heart of the Assembly Hall Theatre. This is a fantastic opportunity to deliver exceptional customer service while contributing to the commercial success of our venue.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Providing outstanding customer service via phone, email, and in-person
Supporting sales targets through upselling and proactive engagement
Encouraging and assisting customers in using digital platforms
Delivering accurate reporting to support the wider Culture team
Promoting offerings across TWBC venues including the Literary Festival and Ice Rink

What We’re Looking For:

Experience or understanding of working in a customer-facing role
A proactive, solutions-oriented team player
Proficiency in IT, especially Microsoft Office
Awareness of current and upcoming events at our venues
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to quickly build rapport with customers
Confidence, tact, diplomacy, and empathy in customer interactions
A positive, “can-do” attitude and excellent interpersonal skills
Self-motivated and resilient under pressure
Available to work evening and weekends across a 7-day working pattern
