Full job description

Warranty Administrator

Malcolm Waite Limited are an independent, family owned, Ford Authorised Repairers in Sandwich and we currently have a vacancy for Warranty Administrator.

Applications for the position are invited from suitably qualified/experienced persons.

Previous motor trade experience in a similar position is essential, preferably in a Ford environment although this is not essential. Some technical experience essential.

The successful applicant will be working alongside our Aftersales Manager and must be willing to cover this position when required.

About the job

Responsible for the administration and control of Ford Warranty repairs (from making booking through to payment of claim) and quality checking job card write-up.
Managing flow of work to workshop - ordering and pre-picking of parts
Liaising with local factors and monitoring the market (price, offers, availability)
Managing Parts Stock Inventory to ensure correct stocking levels with minimal ageing and over-stocking.
Prompt processing of paperwork against workshop jobs -allocation of parts, clearance of invoices
Reporting to the Aftersales Manager.

Strong teamwork skills.
Confident and professional communication skills.
Full driving licence.
