Full job description

We are looking for a reliable, hard working person to lead our teams of landscape gardeners. References from recent relevant employers are required. Recent experience of landscape gardening and a driving licence are essential.

Hourly wage rate will be dependent on experience.

Work is mainly concentrated within Aberdeenshire, Aberdeen and surrounding areas.

Tasks

Supervise and motivate teams of landscape gardeners
Operate equipment e.g. ride on mower, lawnmower, strimmer, secateurs, lopper, edging iron, leaf blower, hedge trimmer, hand held applicator (pesticides), ladders. Apply pesticides and fertiliser. Sow grass seed, core lawns. Take out weeds and dead plants, trim overgrown limbs, hedges, shrubs and bushes. Plant flowers and shrubs.
Maintain high standards of work that meets customers’ requirements
Ensure equipment is used correctly and safely
