We are currently seeking Banksmen & Slingers to join our experienced quayside operations team. This is an ad-hoc role, ideal for individuals seeking flexible, on-demand work with opportunities for overtime and enhanced pay rates for out-of-hours shifts.

From vessel handling and cargo management to complete port logistics, Sea-Cargo Aberdeen offers a reliable, efficient, and customer-focused approach to support all requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform slinging and banksman duties on the quayside and within cargo holds
- Ensure loads are correctly and safely slung prior to lifting
- Follow vessel foreman instructions at all times
- Promote and maintain safe working practices
- Inspect lifting equipment visually during operations and report any damage immediately
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Valid Slinger / Banksman certification
- Prior experience in port operations and working alongside cranes
- Strong understanding of lifting and slinging operations
- Excellent communication skills and high reliability
- RTITB Forklift certification (desirable but not essential)
