KITCHEN PORTER

Location: Alltshellach, Onich, Fort William, Invernesshire, PH33 6SA

Contract: Full Time - Permanent

Salary: £12.71 per hour

Reporting to: Head Chef and Country House Manager

Live Out or Live In: Accommodation available inclusive of all bills, 3 meals per day, Laundry & Free WifI

What will you be doing:

Working in our Alltshellach Country House we provide a retreat for up to 49 guests who stay with us for guided or self-guided walking tour holidays. We always know when and where our guests need serving. We know the number of guests we will be hosting each week, and our mealtimes are fixed. We plan our menus in advance and get pre orders for lunch and dinner. Your role as Kitchen Porter will be to support the Head Chef, Sous Chef and Chef clean all Food Preparation areas and equipment. You will ensure the kitchen is maintained to a clean standard throughout service and assist in the preparation of vegetables, salads and picnic lunches when required.

Ability to be part of a team and flexible to work evenings (9pm finish) and weekends.

Previous experience of working in a busy kitchen
