We are looking for trustworthy, caring, and flexible individuals who are passionate about animals and enjoy working independently.
The Role
Our cat sitting visits typically last between 20–30 minutes and take place in customers’ homes. Responsibilities include:
- Feeding and refreshing water
- Cleaning litter trays
- Providing playtime, affection, and interaction
- Administering medication where required (full training provided)
- Sending customer updates and photos via WhatsApp after each visit
- Carrying out light household tasks such as bringing in post and watering plants
While the majority of visits involve cats, we may occasionally care for other small animals including rabbits, chickens, fish, and reptiles (no dogs).
What We’re Looking For Essential
- Full UK driving licence and own vehicle
- Strong reliability and time management skills
- Good written English and confidence using smartphones and WhatsApp
- Genuine love of cats and animal welfare
- Ability to work independently and travel between appointments
- Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and busy holiday periods
- Willingness to complete a DBS check
Desirable
- Previous experience in animal care or pet sitting
- Experience administering animal medication, including tablets or injections
- Customer service experience
Important Information
This role is highly seasonal, with the busiest periods occurring during:
- Summer holidays
- Easter
- Christmas
- Weekends and school breaks
