Balfour Beatty are partnering with The MEH Alliance on Hinkley Point C. We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst / Test Manager to play a key role in the delivery of Digital and IT projects supporting one of Europe's largest infrastructure programmes.
Working closely with senior stakeholders, project teams and delivery partners, you'll help define business requirements, shape innovative solutions and lead testing activities to ensure successful project outcomes. This is a unique opportunity to influence digital transformation within a complex, highly regulated environment while contributing to the delivery of the UK's next generation of clean energy infrastructure.

What you'll be doing
As a Business Analyst / Test Manager, you will:
- Engage with stakeholders to understand business challenges, define requirements and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Lead workshops, facilitate discussions and gather business requirements across multiple functions.
- Develop business cases, assess risks and support investment decisions.
- Collaborate with technical teams and third-party suppliers to evaluate and recommend digital solutions.
- Act as the custodian of business requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
- Lead the planning, coordination and execution of testing activities, ensuring high-quality delivery.
- Manage test strategies, test plans, test scenarios, environments and defect reporting.
- Oversee User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including stakeholder walkthroughs and sign-off.
- Support governance, quality assurance and continuous improvement across Digital and IT projects.
Who we're looking for
You'll bring a strong blend of business analysis, stakeholder engagement and testing expertise, with experience delivering projects within complex business environments.
Essential experience includes:
- Business analysis, process improvement, systems development or business architecture experience.
- Strong knowledge of business process analysis and modelling techniques.
- Experience facilitating workshops and engaging senior stakeholders.
- Demonstrable experience developing business cases and supporting business change programmes.
- Experience planning, coordinating and documenting testing activities.
- Hands-on experience managing and delivering User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
Desirable experience:
- Prince2, APMP or other project management methodologies.
- Previous experience within Nuclear, Safety Critical or Asset Intensive industries.
- Experience working across large-scale digital transformation programmes
