Experienced Dental Treatment Coordinator

Wonder of Wellness

40 hours per week over 4 days

About Wonder of Wellness

Wonder of Wellness is a forward-thinking, patient-centred dental practice with a strong focus on biological dentistry, exceptional patient care and clinical excellence.

We are looking for an experienced Dental Treatment Coordinator (TCO) to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about dentistry, highly organised, confident with patients and motivated by delivering an outstanding patient journey from the first enquiry through to treatment completion.

The Role

As our Dental Treatment Coordinator, you will be a key part of the patient journey and will work closely with our clinicians and wider team to ensure patients feel informed, supported and confident throughout their experience with us.

You will be responsible for managing new patient enquiries, coordinating consultations and treatment plans, following up prospective patients and helping patients understand their treatment options.

You will also play an important role in supporting the practice's treatment conversion and patient relationship processes.

Key Responsibilities

Managing new patient enquiries and ensuring all enquiries are responded to promptly and professionally.
Building strong relationships with prospective and existing patients.
Coordinating consultations and ensuring patients are fully prepared for their appointments.
Supporting clinicians during treatment consultations where required.
Explaining treatment plans, procedures and costs clearly and confidently.
Following up patients after consultations and maintaining regular communication.
Supporting patients in making informed decisions about their treatment.
Coordinating complex treatment journeys from consultation through to completion.
Working closely with clinicians, nurses and the practice management team.
Maintaining accurate patient and communication records within Dentally and Boxly.
Managing and progressing leads through the practice's patient journey and follow-up process.
Supporting treatment conversion while always maintaining a patient-centred approach.
Discussing finance and payment options where appropriate.
Supporting patients undergoing more complex treatments and ensuring they feel well cared for throughout their journey.
Requesting patient feedback and reviews following treatment.
Contributing to the ongoing development and improvement of the TCO process within the practice.

Experience & Skills

We are looking for someone who has previous experience working as a Dental TreatmentCoordinator and understands the importance of exceptional communication, organisation and patient care.

Essential:

Previous experience as a Dental Treatment Coordinator within a dental practice.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Confident discussing treatment plans and costs with patients.
Strong organisational and administrative skills.
Excellent attention to detail.
A warm, empathetic and professional manner.
Ability to work independently while being an effective member of a wider team.
Comfortable working in a busy and fast-paced dental environment.
Strong understanding of the patient journey and treatment coordination.

Desirable:

Experience using Dentally.
Experience using Boxly or a similar CRM system.
Knowledge and experience of implant dentistry.
Knowledge of orthodontic treatments.
Experience coordinating complex or high-value dental treatment.
Experience working within a private dental practice.
An understanding or interest in biological dentistry.
