Be the Backbone of Recycling: Join Us as a Site Operative

Location:

Shoreham

Hours:

Wednesday - Sunday

HWRS Summer - 8:45am to 6.15pm
HWRS Winter - 8.45am to 4.15pm (closed Mon & Tues)

£12.91 per hour

A quick look at the role.

As a Site Operative, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring our recycling centre runs safely and efficiently. From assisting visitors to maintaining the site, your work will help create a cleaner, greener community.

Your core responsibilities.

Support the day-to-day operations and ensure everything runs smoothly.
Assist visitors in sorting and recycling waste effectively.
Keep the site clean, safe, and organized.
Prevent commercial and non-compliant waste from entering the site.
Promote recycling by maximizing waste segregation wherever possible.
Be part of a team making a tangible impact on the environment and the local community.
Gain hands-on experience working in a dynamic, outdoor environment.
Enjoy the satisfaction of knowing your efforts help reduce waste and increase recycling.
