Summary

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Locksmith Branch Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our branch. This is a hands-on role requiring strong leadership, customer service, and technical locksmith expertise.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth branch operations, delivering exceptional customer service, maintaining stock control and daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

Serve customers at the trade counter, providing advice and solutions
Handle incoming phone calls and email enquiries in a professional and timely manner
Process orders, quotations, and invoices accurately
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers
Resolve customer issues effectively and professionally

Locksmith Duties

Carry out locksmith bench work including key cutting, lock assembly, and repairs
Demonstrate strong technical knowledge across a range of locksmith products and services

Stock Control & Ordering

Complete weekly stock takes and maintain accurate stock records
Order stock as required and manage supplier relationships
Ensure stock is correctly stored, labelled, and replenished
Maintain control of high-value items and reduce stock discrepancies

Branch Management

Oversee the daily running of the branch, ensuring efficiency and organisation
Ensure company procedures and policies are followed
Manage branch performance, including sales and operational targets
Maintain high standards of housekeeping and branch presentation
Support and manage staff where applicable, including training and development
Ensure health & safety compliance within the branch

Requirements

Previous experience in a locksmith environment (bench work and/or field engineering)
Strong product knowledge within the locksmith/security industry
Experience in a supervisory or management role (preferred)
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Good organisational and time management abilities
Ability to work independently and take ownership of the branch
