Summary
Croma Locksmiths (Portslade Brighton) are looking for a self-driven and motivated individual to work in our busy Brighton Locksmith Shop. The candidate will need to have a keen eye for detail, great organisational skills and the desire to learn. Full training will be provided.
Successful applicants will be trained in the skills of key cutting and locksmith bench work, whilst assisting with all shop duties and sales enquiries.
A confident and polite outgoing personality is essential for the role as it requires a lot of interaction with customers and clients.
- Cut and duplicate keys using manual and automated machines
- Assist with basic lock repairs and servicing in-store
- Advise customers on security products and solutions
- Maintain tools, machinery, and workspace to a high standard
- Keep accurate records of jobs and inventory
- Learn from experienced locksmiths
What we are looking for:
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Reliable, punctual, and presentable
- Comfortable working in a retail environment
- Previous retail or technical experience (a plus, but not essential)
-Have above average abilities in reading, writing and math's
-Be highly motivated, trustworthy and reliable
-Be confident, willing to learn and polite
-Have NO criminal history/record
-Be physically able to work with small instruments/components and all types of labor-intensive duties.
Our shop is based in Portslade, Brighton
National Minimum Wage first 6 months, with increase reviewed upon completion of 6 months.
