The role

We are seeking a Procurement Assistant to join our team - supporting the indirect team to support stores, site and the test team with day-to-day procurement activities, your role will assist the sites in Shoreham-By-Sea and Leamington-Spa.

Key Duties

Raise purchase orders for goods and indirect services whilst also supporting the project team when required
Working closely with accounts payable to goods receipt and clear any parked invoices
Liaise with existing suppliers and source alternative suppliers where necessary
Work closely with the stores team to consolidate supply base
Monitoring the purchasing inbox to assist with all queries

Skills

Knowledge of SAP is preferred
Effective and efficient problem solver
Ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines
Excellent collaboration skills with internal and external stakeholders
Experience of working with a stores department or warehousing function would be preferred
