Full job description

Location: Worthing

Salary: £25,000–£35,000 per annum

Rota: Monday to Friday, 08:30–17:00 (overtime likely)

We are looking for a motivated Technical Support Engineer to join our growing team in Worthing, supporting CCTV, networking and security systems across a range of client environments. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically skilled individual who enjoys troubleshooting, problem-solving, and working with modern surveillance and communication systems.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor CCTV systems and system health dashboards to ensure continuous uptime
Diagnose and resolve faults in CCTV, networking, hardware and electrical systems
Provide remote technical support for cameras, DVRs/NVRs and associated software
Configure IP cameras, recording systems and network devices
Analyse system logs and identify recurring faults
Support installation engineers via phone and email
Assist with system upgrades, maintenance and troubleshooting
Maintain accurate documentation of issues and resolutions

Requirements

Experience with CCTV systems, networking or technical support
Good understanding of IP networking and hardware troubleshooting
Experience configuring IP cameras and recording systems preferred
Ability to read technical drawings and schematics is advantageous
Experience with IDS or other security systems is desirable
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Good communication skills and ability to work both independently and within a team
