Part-Time Orthodontic Therapist

Location: 1 St James's Mansions, Old Steine, Brighton, BN1 1EN
Start Date: Friday 30 October 2026

Brighton Dental Clinic is looking for a Part-Time Orthodontic Therapist to join our friendly, experienced team in the heart of Brighton. You will work alongside our Specialist Orthodontist, Dr Nick Ferlias, providing high-quality patient care in a modern, fully private practice.

Our Orthodontic Therapist is supported chairside at all times by a dedicated dental nurse, allowing you to focus on delivering exceptional orthodontic treatment in a well-supported clinical environment.

We are a fully private dental practice with a long-standing, dedicated team committed to providing outstanding patient care. Under one roof, we offer a wide range of specialist treatments, including:

Specialist Orthodontics
Dental Implants
Periodontal referrals
Endodontic referrals

Our practice is fully digital, featuring modern surgeries equipped with:

Dentally practice management software
Digital radiography
On-site 3D CBCT scanner

The Role

We are seeking a caring, professional and motivated Orthodontic Therapist who enjoys working as part of a collaborative team and is committed to delivering excellent patient care.

Working pattern:

Part-time
Approximately 3–4 days per month
Fridays, with the opportunity to work one Saturday per month if desired

Candidate Requirements

Applicants must have:

A recognised Orthodontic Therapy qualification
Current GDC registration
Valid professional indemnity insurance
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A caring, professional and patient-focused approach

Remuneration

We offer an excellent hourly rate, dependent on experience.

Self-Employed

£35.00–£42.00 per hour

PAYE Employed

£30.00–£38.00 per hour
