PART TIME - Trainee Cake Decorator and Coffee Shop Assistant
We don't use and don't believe zero hour contracts are right - your core hours are fixed.
We want someone who wants to learn on the job and build outstanding skills in cake decorating, you must be flexible as you'll operate our Coffee Shop too.

Do you want to work in a vibrant cake shop and café and work for a growing family business? If so, Didicakes is for you! We are open Tues to Sat (daytime only) and serve great quality food and drink in a welcoming, relaxed environment.
Do you want to learn or improve your cake decoration skills? You will learn to pipe and decorate our wonderful and beautiful express cakes and wholesale cakes.
This role is part time

Sales and Customer Service
· Demonstrates fantastic customer service and hospitality standards by greeting and responding to all customers with fast, efficient, friendly, personalised, and professional service.
· We'll teach you how to help and guide customers in their selection and order of celebration cakes. We want our customers to love their Didicakes experience!
· Safely handles all hot and cold drinks or food items during preparation.
Shop Operations
· Have love for cake! Be on the look out for new ideas that we can test and bring to our customers.
· Regularly restock and organise the stock and ingredients. We want you to be proud of your work and the way you display and maintain the displays.
· Routinely cleans in accordance with the daily, weekly and monthly plans. Ensuring a clean, organised and stocked environment that adheres to shop, health and safety standards.
· Implements and adheres to both new and existing policies and procedures.
· Reports potential safety hazard and any operational inconsistencies.
Cake Decorating
· You'll be fully trained on how to assemble and decorate our delicious and popular express cakes and wholesale cakes. We'll start you on the simpler ones and build your confidence and skills over time.
- This is all about consistency and accuracy, most of our cakes are made to preset designs and our customers expect the same great quality and standards time after time. We're proud that 1 in 3 of our cakes go to repeat customers.
· Washing up and cleaning duties.
