Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Riding Instructor specialising in equine activities to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality riding lessons, ensuring the safety and enjoyment of all participants.

Currently we have Friday evening 4-7pm and Alternate Saturdays 1/2 or full day, plus alternate Weds eve 4-7pm. Holiday cover also available. There is no criteria to take all shifts.

Duties

Conduct riding lessons for individuals and groups across various skill levels, from beginners to advanced riders
Develop customised lesson plans tailored to each rider’s abilities and goals
Ensure the safety of all participants by enforcing proper riding techniques and safety protocols
Maintain the organisation and cleanliness of riding equipment and stables
Provide guidance on horse care, grooming, and tack maintenance as part of rider education
Monitor rider progress and provide constructive feedback to support their development

Requirements

Proven experience in sports coaching, teaching, or equivalent roles within an equestrian setting
Strong knowledge of horse behaviour, care, and handling techniques
Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and instruct riders of all ages
Valid certification in equine riding instruction or equivalent recognised qualification is preferred
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and handle horses safely and confidently
Enthusiastic, patient, organised, and committed to delivering exceptional instruction

Pay: From £13.50 per hour

Work Location: In person
