About the role
We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Advisor to join our HR team in our Bath/Bristol/Swindon office. You will become part of a friendly and supportive team, working alongside experienced colleagues across a broad range of HR disciplines and making a real contribution to the firm’s continued success and growth.
This is a great opportunity for an in-house or agency recruiter who is looking to build their career in a legal environment. In this role, you will work closely with senior stakeholders, contribute to strategic recruitment initiatives, and play an important part in attracting the talented people who help our business thrive.
In your role as our Talent Acquisition Advisor you will work collaboratively alongside another Advisor to;
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle for designated practice areas, from vacancy briefing and candidate sourcing through to offer management and onboarding

Advise hiring managers and partners on market insights, salary benchmarking, recruitment best practice, interview processes, and workforce planning

Support the HR Director and HR Business Partners in delivering the people strategy and talent mapping activity

Lead direct sourcing and headhunting activity for designated practice areas, while building and maintaining strong talent pipelines

Make effective use of recruitment tools, channels, and networks to attract high-quality candidates

Collaborate closely to manage relationships with recruitment agencies and external suppliers, ensuring strong performance, process compliance, and value for money

Work as a team to drive continuous improvement within Talent Acquisition by leading projects, enhancing systems and processes, supporting employer branding activity, and contributing to wider HR initiatives as needed
Whilst this role is based in the Bath/Bristol/Swindon office, occasional travel to other offices will be required.
About you

To do well in this role, you will bring strong communication and collaboration skills, along with the ability to build positive relationships with fee-earners and provide an excellent experience for both candidates and hiring managers. You will also have:

Previous recruitment experience gained in either an in-house or agency environment, with experience within a legal or professional services setting is desirable

Strong understanding of end-to-end recruitment processes, candidate attraction strategies and recruitment best practice

Knowledge of, or a keen interest in developing expertise within, the legal recruitment market, including relevant regulatory and compliance requirements

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build effective relationships and deliver an outstanding candidate and hiring manager experience

Highly organised with strong attention to detail, able to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines and adapt to changing business needs

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is essential with previous experience of using an ATS being preferred
