Full job description

If you enjoy delivering excellent customer service and working as part of a supportive team, we have a fantastic opportunity for you at our Bristol Imperial Vets for Pets practice.

What your typical day will look like:

Providing outstanding service to our clients while ensuring the highest standard of care for their pets, acting as a key link between clients and the clinical team
Building strong, positive relationships with clients, their pets, and your colleagues
Ensuring every client visit is a positive experience, so clients leave feeling confident, supported, and happy to return
Greeting clients warmly and offering support, guidance, and clear information
Managing payments and booking future appointments with confidence
Coordinating the smooth day-to-day running of the practice using our online booking system, so good computer skills are essential

This is a Full-Time position, working 40 hours per week (shift details to be confirmed). Some weekend work may be required.

The attributes we’re looking for:

Previous experience as a Veterinary Receptionist or in a similar role
Friendly and approachable, serving as the first point of contact for clients and their pets
Able to provide accurate guidance by staying informed about all practice services and offerings
Calm, attentive, and focused on meeting client needs with care and professionalism
Enthusiastic and driven, with a genuine passion for both customer service and animal welfare
Emotionally resilient, able to support clients during difficult times while celebrating joyful moments, such as a puppy’s first visit
Positive, engaging, and able to contribute to a welcoming and friendly practice environment
Confident with computers and proficient in using social media

In short, you enjoy being busy, love helping people and their pets, and are always motivated to make a positive difference.
