Selection appropriate tooling, setting up and operating 3-axis CNC milling machines
Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
Ensuring a “Right First Time” approach to all tasks and collaborating with the quality team to ensure part conformity and traceability
Communicating equipment needs with Engineering & Quality managers
Working continuously on process improvement strategies with Engineering manager/CNC programmer

We are looking for passionate, adaptable, and collaborative people
Minimum 3 years’ experience operating CNC machinery
Ability to read engineering drawings and work to tight tolerances
Experience of 3 axis milling machining
Experience of creating job specific fixturing and clampiing
Ability to edit CNC programmes to suit need if required
Fanuc experience and experience in machining aluminium preferable
Skilled in using measuring tools (e.g., Vernier callipers, bore micrometres, DTI gauge)
Preferably some experience of CAD/CAM systems and some experience with Haas and/or Mazak machines
Good organizational skills as well as verbal and wirtten communication skills
