Hours: 37.5 per week, Monday to Friday.

Required to be part of the on-call provision within the service.

In a nutshell

As we continue to make a difference to our communities, we are looking for a Case Manager to join the team at The Maples. As a Case Manager, you will lead your team, to create and provide support environments, that promote The Maples values, enhancing and enabling our clients to live independently in their community.

Why The Maples

As we continue to make a difference to our communities, we are looking for a Case Manager to join our Specialised Trauma Services, which includes both regulated and non-regulated services. You will be dealing with clients who are suffering from various and complex mental health needs such as personality disorder, trauma, PTSD, self harm, bipolar disorder, eating disorder, and schizophrenia. Due to the nature of the clients you will be working with, we would require a female Case Manager.

Due to the sensitive nature of the support provided and the personal circumstances of these clients, it is essential that the successful candidate is female. What will you be doing?

Ensure caseloads are managed and the front-line staff complete their KPI requirements, outcomes, risk assessments and support plans.
End to end line management responsibilities of front-line staff (hiring, onboarding, training, supervisions)
Ensure regular monthly supervision is carried out to all team members to manage performance and career development
Lead on risk with the service users across the service and develop plans to mitigate these
Identify and rectify any underperformance issues with individuals or the team including developing investigation reports, chairing disciplinaries and developing PIPs
Review and evaluation the support plans of service users
To take immediate and appropriate action to investigate and rectify any risks to health and safety arising from the work activity
Use effective team briefings to communicate company requirements and policy
Manage crisis resolution, such as safeguarding, effective risk management, reflective practice, and de-brief.
Manage service user complaints to successful resolution.
Ensure compliance and governance of Local Authority contracts.

What will you bring to the role:

A social care qualification would be an advantage
A recognized management qualification would be an advantage
Strong IT skills
Robust knowledge of Safeguarding protocols
Knowledge of relevant legislation, regulation, local services, and resources
Proven experience of managing a team
Relevant experience of working in mental health or another comparable field
Must have a full UK drivers licence as well as access to your own vehicle to use for work purposes.
