We have a fantastic opportunity for the right person to gain valuable experience and training to become one of our Porter / Furniture Fitters. You will join our team and undertake deliveries and product installation throughout the UK and occasionally Europe.
The Role:
** Hourly rate to be discussed and agreed at interview depending on experience, and if driving license, CSCS card etc is held by applicant**
- Porters to assist in loading and unloading of deliveries to client sites, and into our warehouse.
- Carrying out the installation of various furniture items on both large projects and smaller deliveries.
- Working to high standards and deadlines to exceed customer expectations
- Travelling throughout the UK and occasionally overseas
- Works can involve early starts, late finishes, weekends, and overnight stays
- Self employed / freelance positions available (we can talk you through the benefits of this if you have not worked this way before).
What we are looking for:
- People who are out of work or unhappy in your current job to join our team ! A large influx of new contracts means LSI are looking to increase team members quickly and on a long terms basis.
- Physically fit, presentable, flexible and hard working
- Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written
- Self-Motivated, but also able to work as part of a dynamic team
- Able to work under pressure and maintain deadlines
- Preferred clean driving licence and CSCS card holder – but not essential.
