Due to the course required for the qualification all applicants have to be aged 16-18.
We are seeking a passionate Barber apprentice to join the shop. The ideal candidate will possess a strong interest in barbering techniques and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Barber apprentice, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the appearance and confidence of our clients through learning to become an expert in hair styling and grooming services.
Duties
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitised and in good working condition.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and offer professional advice on styles and grooming.
- Build rapport with clients to encourage repeat business and foster a welcoming atmosphere.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in hair styling and barbering techniques to provide clients with contemporary options.
- Assist in managing appointments and ensuring timely service delivery.
Experience
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English.
- A passion for hair styling and grooming, coupled with an eye for detail.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining professionalism and composure.
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in barbering are advantageous but not mandatory.
