Our practice comprises a blend of those who have worked previously in industry (in both technical and non-technical roles) and those who have prior consulting experience. Major Programmes Communities
Within Major programmes, you'll be focused on working with clients in the South West of England (primarily Bristol and Corsham).
Your role will allow you to:

Assist with the design, development and transformation of major programmes, including programme strategy and set up, programme/portfolio delivery, capability and digital transformation, and assurance reviews.

Contribute to client projects including development of engagement plans, production of deliverables, change management activities, and workshop/meeting facilitation across a wide range of propositions, focusing on Digital delivery and transformation, but also including:

Operating Model design and implementation
-
Scaled Agile Delivery
-
Programme Governance
-
Project Management Office setup and maintenance
-
Capability Development
-
Support progress reporting, risk management and financial controls in relation to the programme or workstream.

Support the growth of client relationships, identifying new opportunities within both existing and new clients, and supporting proposals to win work.

Support the development of our propositions, solutions and methods, and industry points of view.
Connect to your skills and professional experience
All applicants must hold UK security clearance, or be eligible for a minimum of SC level.
Essential:

Experience of working in a digital delivery environment, combined with Industry knowledge, lessons learnt and insights to clients and the wider Deloitte group.

Proven experience working in one or more areas within Defence, Security and Justice.
-
Demonstrable experience of delivering on projects associated with programmes through either working for an organisation operating in one of the above sectors, or for a management consulting or professional services firm.

Commercial awareness around project delivery (e.g. supply chain challenges, risks and controls, incentivisation) and engagement management (including bidding, performance management etc.).

Ability to present to client/stakeholders at all levels in an organisation.

Problem solving, attention to details, creative thinking and analytical skills.

Experience of working in multi-disciplinary teams, and fast-paced project environments.

Self-starting with high degree of personal motivation and drive.

Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to form lasting relationships with both team members and clients.

Regulation and controls are standard practice in our industry and Deloitte is no exception. These controls provide important legal protection for both you and the firm. We are subject to a number of audit regulations, one of which requires that certain colleagues abide by specific personal independence constraints (e.g., in relation to any financial interests and employment relationships).
