We are looking for an experienced tailor or seamstress to join a bespoke project, sewing customised clothes and decorative pillows.
The ideal candidate should be based in Gloucester, Wickwar, or the surrounding area. They must be comfortable working independently from home, have excellent sewing skills, strong attention to detail, and experience following provided designs, sewing patterns, and specifications.
Responsibilities:
Sew custom-made clothes according to provided designs, patterns, and specifications.
Create decorative pillows with a high-quality finish.
Manage your own schedule independently and meet agreed deadlines.
Maintain clear communication throughout the project.
Requirements:
Proven sewing experience, with examples of previous work or a portfolio required.
Experience reading and following sewing patterns.
Ability to deliver consistently high-quality craftsmanship.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Good communication skills.
Work Arrangement:
Remote, flexible working hours.
Weekly meetings required.
Sewing equipment can be provided if required.
