Full job description

Bristol BS13 7TJ
Permanent, full time
41.75 hours per week
Monday-Friday 6:00-15:00

The ideal candidate should be:

Experience in delivering around the local and wider area
Good Communication
Open minded, with a fresh approach to learning new skills.
Pride in your work with a right first time attitude

Tasks and duties will include;

Responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of glass products.
To undertake the safe, secure and efficient movement of materials and equipment required for the business
Performing deliveries and collections to and from the customer sites, and other locations as required
Representing the company in a professional and courteous manner at all times to customers, the general public and other road users
Check equipment is loaded/unloaded in a safe manner
Ensure that the total payload does not exceed vehicle weight limited
Use approved methods to secure the load of the vehicle
Check paperwork to that delivery/collection loads are correct
Ensure that all equipment on the vehicle is accounted for
Visually inspect equipment being loaded and unloaded

Full glass handling training will be given,

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Holds a full clean driving licence valid in the UK, with no more than 6 points on Licence
Holds a HGV Driving Licence
Holds a CPC Licence
Holds a Digi Taco Card
Good personal presentation
Able to carry out manual handling tasks
