Full job description

Mr C`s care home are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Night Care Assistants to join our team.

This role involves providing high-quality support to residents, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be reliable, and have a genuine desire to make a positive difference in people's lives. Experience in care environments is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided. The position offers an opportunity to develop your skills within a supportive and professional setting.

Duties

Assisting clients with personal care, dressing, mobility, and other daily living activities while ensuring their comfort, dignity, and safety during overnight shifts.
Supporting individuals with their care plans tailored to their specific needs
Providing companionship and emotional support to clients
Maintaining accurate records of care
Assisting with light domestic tasks including cleaning and meal preparation if required
Communicating effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure consistent care delivery

Experience

Previous experience working within a care home or home care environment is advantageous but not mandatory; full training will be provided for those new to the sector
Good literacy skills for maintaining accurate documentation and following care plans
Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written
Ability to demonstrate empathy, patience, and excellent interpersonal skills
Knowledge of care plans and basic health & safety procedures is beneficial but can be learned on the job
