We’re currently recruiting for a Band 5 Staff Nurse to join our Consultant Led Outpatients team at The London Clinic.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Nurse with strong ward-based experience who enjoys working in a busy clinical environment and is looking to broaden their experience within Outpatients.
About Us
Established in 1932, The London Clinic is one of the UK’s largest independent private hospitals, based in the heart of London’s medical district on Harley Street.
Our Outpatients Department manages a high volume of specialist clinics and patient pathways across a broad range of services including Gynaecology, ENT, Urology, Dermatology, Neurology, Gastroenterology, Orthopaedics, Rheumatology and Neuro/Spinal, and more.
The department plays an important role in the patient journey, with teams working closely together to deliver efficient, patient focused care across multiple specialties within a well-established clinical environment.
The Role
You will work across a wide range of specialist clinics and services, helping to deliver high quality care and a smooth patient experience throughout the department.
The role includes patient assessments, wound care, minor procedures, clinic coordination and contributing to the day to day running of outpatient clinics across multiple specialties.
This is a 37.5 hour per week position working Monday to Saturday on a rota basis, with a mixture of early, late and long day shifts between 7:30am and 8:00pm.
Key Duties:

Support consultant led outpatient clinics to help deliver a positive patient experience

Coordinate patient flow to help clinics run smoothly and efficiently

Deliver high quality patient centred nursing care across multiple specialties

Support with wound care, dressings and minor procedures

Work closely with Consultants and multidisciplinary teams to support safe and effective care

Carry out patient assessments, observations and clinical documentation

Maintain high standards of patient safety, dignity and confidentiality

Participate in training and ongoing professional development
About You
We are looking for a Registered Nurse who:

Holds current NMC registration
-
Applies evidence-based knowledge and practical skills to deliver safe, effective, and high-quality care

Is comfortable working within a busy and fast paced environment
-
Has excellent communication and organisational skills
-
Takes a proactive and patient focused approach to care
-
Previous outpatient experience would be beneficial, but is not essential.
