Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista/All Rounder to join our vibrant team. This role involves preparing and serving high-quality beverages, providing excellent customer service, and assisting with various operational tasks within our busy café environment. The ideal candidate will be passionate about coffee and food service, organised, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.

Duties

Prepare a variety of coffee drinks and beverages in accordance with company standards
Serve customers with a friendly and professional attitude, ensuring an exceptional experience
Handle food preparation tasks such as assembling snacks and light meals
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in all areas of the café, adhering to food safety regulations
Operate cash registers, process transactions accurately, and manage cash handling procedures
Restock supplies, organise displays, and ensure the café is tidy at all times
Assist with general cleaning duties and stock replenishment during quieter periods
Support team members as needed to ensure smooth daily operations

Experience

Previous barista experience is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
Knowledge of food safety standards is advantageous
Experience in serving customers in a fast-paced environment is desirable
Basic maths skills for handling transactions and cash management are required
Familiarity with food preparation tasks will be beneficial
Strong organisational skills and effective time management are essential for success in this role

Pay: £8.00-£13.95 per hour
