Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Motor Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of motor vehicles and equipment. Responsibilities

Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles and machinery to identify faults or issues.
Repair and maintain engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, and other vehicle systems using appropriate tools and techniques.
Interpret technical diagrams, schematics, and manuals to facilitate accurate repairs.
Utilise hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to carry out assembly, repairs, and maintenance tasks.
Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tyre rotations, and fluid replacements to ensure optimal vehicle performance.
Assist with the assembly of new equipment or vehicle components as required.
Engage in heavy lifting tasks safely when handling parts or machinery during repairs or maintenance procedures.
Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair work clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Maintain a clean and organised workshop environment in compliance with safety standards.
Troubleshoot complex mechanical issues efficiently to minimise downtime.

Skills

Strong understanding of mechanical systems and components.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical schematics and diagrams.
Experience with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly processes.
Knowledge of vehicle or machinery maintenance procedures.
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Good communication skills to interact effectively with team members and customers.
Prior experience in equipment repair or automotive servicing
