Full job description

We are on the search for a guest centred and enthusiastic individual to join us at The Sonas Hotel Collection as a Receptionist.

Currently we opportunities on the Isle of Skye at Duisdale House Hotel.

Job Description:

As a Receptionist, you will work closely with the team to ensure that we deliver a great guest experience in our hotels. Alongside the team, you will also work closely with the other hotel departments and the central support team.

Given the remote location of this role, we do offer staff accommodation for those who require it – rates to be discussed during the interview process.

A snapshot of your key responsibilities:

Check in / out of all guests of the business.
Answering questions / queries from all guests of the business.
Sharing local knowledge and information with all guests of the business.
Ensuring adherence to all current legislation including but not limited to Health & Safety.
Ensuring guest satisfaction in all areas of the business, and resolution / escalation of any guest concerns or complaints.
Processing of payments in a timely and efficient manner.
Promote a positive people culture through effective communication.

Key requirements for this role:

Previous experience in a similar role.
A passion for hospitality.
Fantastic communication skills.
