Apprentice Electrician
Location: Poole, Dorset (Travel throughout the South of England)
Role Overview
Sentinel Electrical is currently recruiting for an Apprentice Electrician to join our growing team based in Christchurch.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to begin a career within the electrical industry. Working alongside experienced electricians, you will gain practical experience across a wide range of electrical installations, planned maintenance, compliance works and reactive repairs, whilst completing your electrical apprenticeship.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist qualified electricians with electrical installations across residential and commercial properties.
- Support planned maintenance, compliance and reactive works.
- Install wiring systems, containment, lighting, accessories and electrical equipment.
- Assist with electrical testing, inspection and fault finding.
- Read and interpret basic electrical drawings and specifications.
- Prepare materials, tools and equipment for site works.
- Maintain accurate records and complete job documentation where required.
- Ensure all work is carried out safely and in accordance with company procedures.
- Attend college and complete all apprenticeship training requirements.
- Maintain a clean, organised and professional working environment.
Knowledge & Experience Essential
- GCSE Grade 4 (C) or above in Maths and English (or equivalent).
- Genuine interest in pursuing a career as an Electrician.
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn.
- Good communication skills.
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to high standards of health and safety.
Desirable
- Level 2 Electrical Installation (completed or currently studying).
- Previous experience within construction or a trade environment.
- ECS or CSCS Card.

Pay: £16,640.00-£20,800.00 per year
