ROLE: Mobile HVAC Engineer - Multi-Skilled Engineer / Air Conditioning Engineer Bias
HOURS: Full-time, including out-of-hours call-out rota
LOCATION: Bournemouth and surrounding areas (BH and DT postcodes)

We're looking for a Mobile HVAC Engineer to efficiently operate and maintain new and existing building AC/HVAC services across Bournemouth and the surrounding areas.
Role Responsibilities:

Carry out routine Planned Preventative Maintenance tasksin accordance withthe SFG20 framework, together with reactive maintenance, diagnostic checks, fault finding, electrical repairs and air conditioning repairs as required.

Undertake minor new works and complete the required certification, risk assessments,worksheetsand work-related documentation accurately and on time, obtaining appropriate client authorisation for restricted areas and completed works.

Complete general maintenance tasks, including basic plumbing and toilet unblocking, support other Mitie disciplines in delivering multi-discipline services,procurematerials and equipment through the Supervisor or Manager, and attend site meetings or training when required.

Be proactive on site, support contract mobilisation and change management, maximise the compliant use of mobile technology, manage financial procedures and delivery efficiencies, and undertake other duties in line with contract deliverables.

Ensure statutory, legislative, company, departmental and client operational requirements are followed at alltimes, andparticipate in necessary works outside normal hours and the call-out rota with additional remuneration.
Required Qualifications:
Applicants must meet the below defined requirements for the role.

An air conditioning or refrigeration-specific qualification: NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Air Conditioning and Small Refrigeration; City & Guilds Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning (7189) Level 2 or 3; or City & Guilds Refrigeration, Air-Conditioning and Heat Pump Systems (6090) Level 3. F-Gas Category 1, City & Guilds 2079 or the former 2078 Safe Handling of Refrigerants, is alsorequired.

Time served in an air conditioning-specific service role rather than solely installation, likely to be at least five years, with experiencemaintaining, testing and fault finding on commercial HVAC systems, lighting, packaged equipment, air handlingequipment and split systems.

City & Guilds 236 Part 1 and 2 and knowledge of BS 7671 Electrical Regulations. City & Guilds 2391 Electrical Inspection and Testing and completion of a recognised trade training scheme are desirable.
