Renewable Energy Installer (ASHP / Solar PV)
Location: Evesham / Pershore (covering surrounding areas)
Contract: Initial 6-Month Contract (with potential extension)
Rate: Approximately £2,000 per completed installation
Employment: Subcontractor team (For example 1 x engineer, 1 x mate)

Phoenix Decarbonisation is recruiting experienced Renewable Energy Installers to support a major domestic retrofit programme across Evesham and Pershore.
This is an excellent opportunity for installers with Air Source Heat Pump experience who can also install Solar PV systems. Experience of ventilation systems (PIV, MEV or MVHR) and loft insulation is highly desirable as part of a whole-house retrofit approach.
You'll be working within occupied social housing properties, delivering high-quality installations with a strong focus on customer care and right-first-time delivery.
The Role
- Install Air Source Heat Pump systems in domestic social housing properties.
- Install Solar PV systems, including panels, mounting systems and associated equipment.
- Install or assist with ventilation systems and loft insulation where required.
- Commission installations and complete all quality documentation.
- Work safely and professionally within occupied homes.
- Deliver approximately one complete installation per week, ensuring quality workmanship throughout.
Essential Experience
- Proven Air Source Heat Pump installation experience.
- Solar PV installation experience.
- Experience working within domestic properties.
- Good understanding of renewable technologies and retrofit programmes.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
Desirable
- Ventilation installation experience (PIV, MEV or MVHR).
- Loft insulation experience.
- PAS 2030 retrofit experience.
- Battery storage installations.
- MCS installation experience.
Qualifications
- Relevant Air Source Heat Pump installation qualification.
- Solar PV qualification or demonstrable installation experience.
- CSCS or ECS Card.
- Working at Height.
- Asbestos Awareness.
- Manual Handling.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
