What would your day at GAC look like?

Coordinate the timely and efficient movement of import and export freight by preparing accurate import and export declarations

Prepare and manage customs and shipping documentation, ensuring compliance with HMRC regulations and company procedures

Act as a key point of contact for customers, suppliers, carriers and customs authorities
-
Maintain accurate records, costings and invoicing information while supporting the smooth movement of freight
-
Monitor shipment progress, resolve customs-related issues and provide updates to customers and internal stakeholders

Build strong working relationships and contribute to continuous improvement across customs and logistics operations
What are we looking for?

At least 1 year of experience in customs clearance
-
Strong communication and organisational skills
-
Ability to produce and maintain accurate documents
-
Ability to prioritise workloads, solve problems and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
-
Competent user of Microsoft Office
-
Previous experience using customs software ASM Sequoia is preferred
