Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and professional Bus Drivers to operate passenger vehicles safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and experience in commercial driving. This role involves transporting passengers and ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the journey. A strong focus on vehicle care is essential to maintain high standards of service. The successful applicant will contribute to a positive travel experience and uphold the organisation’s reputation for safety and reliability.

Qualifications

Valid driver’s licence showing D1 with a clean driving record.
Valid drivers qualification card.
Valid tachograph card.
Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to interact courteously with passengers.
Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety and customer service.
Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, or weekends if required.
Prior experience in passenger transport or bus driving is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

Safely operate buses along designated routes, adhering to schedules and traffic regulations.
Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and roadworthiness.
Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, and any incidents during shifts.
Communicate effectively with passengers, providing information and assistance as needed.
Perform basic maintenance tasks such as checking fluid levels, tyre pressure, and reporting any mechanical issues promptly.
Ensure passenger safety by enforcing safety rules and managing behaviour onboard.
Assist passengers with boarding, alighting, and luggage handling where necessary.
Follow all company policies and legal requirements related to commercial driving and passenger transport.
