Practice Manager | Bedale Dental Practice | Full-time

This isn't an administrator role. We're looking for an experienced, commercially minded Practice Manager / Business Manager who wants genuine ownership, accountability and the opportunity to shape the future of a successful dental practice.
At Bedale Dental Practice, you'll take responsibility for the overall performance of the practice, leading the team, driving growth, maintaining exceptional standards and ensuring our patients receive an outstanding experience.
And while you'll have full accountability for your practice, you won't be expected to do it alone. As part of Envisage Dental, you'll have access to specialist support across HR, finance, compliance, marketing, operations and clinical services, alongside a network of experienced Practice Managers and leaders who understand what it takes to run a successful dental practice.

The Opportunity
We're looking for a Practice Manager / Business Manager who is ready to take full ownership of the practice's operational and commercial performance.
You'll be responsible for:
- Leading, coaching and developing the practice team.
- Taking full accountability for practice performance and financial results.
- Driving growth, patient retention and diary utilisation.
- Monitoring KPIs and identifying opportunities to improve performance.
- Ensuring the practice operates to the highest clinical, operational and compliance standards.
- Supporting recruitment, onboarding and colleague development.
- Working closely with clinicians to deliver shared business and patient-care objectives.
- Leading local marketing and business development activity.
- Managing practice costs and resources effectively.
- Creating a positive, accountable and high-performing team culture.
- Ensuring an exceptional patient journey from first contact through to treatment and ongoing care.
You'll have the autonomy to make decisions, implement improvements and truly run the business, while knowing that specialist support is available whenever you need it.

About You
We're looking for an experienced Practice Manager, Business Manager or operational leader who is comfortable taking ownership and being accountable for results.
You'll ideally have:
- Previous dental practice management or equivalent leadership experience
- Strong commercial awareness and experience managing KPIs.
- Proven experience leading, coaching and developing teams.
- Confidence managing budgets, costs and financial performance.
- Experience improving diary utilisation, patient conversion and practice growth.
- Knowledge of CQC, compliance and dental regulatory requirements.
- Experience with SOE/Exact or similar dental practice management systems.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
- The confidence to make decisions and hold yourself and others accountable.
