We are seeking a dedicated Factory Assistant to join our manufacturing team. Responsibilities
- Assist with the assembly of products using hand tools and power tools, ensuring quality standards are met
- Operate basic machinery and equipment under supervision, adhering to safety protocols
- Prepare materials and components required for production runs
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following health and safety guidelines
- Assist with loading and unloading materials from lorries or storage areas
- Support team members with general factory duties as needed to ensure smooth workflow
Requirements
- Basic mechanical knowledge or experience working with hand tools and power tools is highly desirable
- Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided
- Ability to follow instructions carefully and work effectively as part of a team
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- Physical fitness to perform manual tasks such as lifting, moving items, and standing for extended periods
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to various tasks within the factory environment
- Must be aged 18 or over and able to work flexible hours as required
