About Steps Real Estate UK

Steps Real Estate UK is an estate agency dedicated to helping clients buy, sell, and let and manage properties with clarity, confidence, and care at every step of the journey. We combine local market expertise with a client-first approach, building long-term relationships rather than one-off transactions. As we continue to grow, we're looking for an experienced Senior Residential Advisor to help lead our sales/lettings team and deliver an outstanding service to our clients.

Role Overview

As a Senior Residential Advisor/Agent, you will manage a portfolio of residential sales and/or lettings instructions from valuation through to completion, while mentoring junior team members and supporting the branch's overall performance. You'll act as a trusted point of contact for buyers, sellers, landlords, and tenants, combining strong negotiation skills with deep local market knowledge to consistently exceed client expectations and revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct market appraisals and valuations, providing clients with accurate, well-researched pricing advice
Manage the end-to-end sales/lettings process: instructions, viewings, offers, negotiations, and progression through to exchange/completion
Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, landlords, buyers, and tenants, providing regular, proactive updates
Generate new business through networking, referrals, canvassing, and local market presence
Mentor and support junior advisors, sharing best practice in negotiation, compliance, and client care
Ensure full compliance with current property law, AML regulations, and Steps Real Estate UK's internal procedures
Maintain accurate records in the CRM system, ensuring pipeline data is current and reliable
Liaise with solicitors, mortgage brokers, surveyors, and other third parties to keep transactions moving efficiently
Contribute to branch strategy, identifying opportunities to grow market share in the local area
Represent the Steps Real Estate UK brand professionally at all times, upholding our service standards

Person Specification

Essential:

Minimum 3 years' experience in residential sales or lettings, with a proven track record of hitting targets
Strong working knowledge of the property sales/lettings process and current UK property legislation
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
Confident, professional manner with the ability to build rapport quickly
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously

Desirable:

NAEA Propertymark (or equivalent) qualification
Experience mentoring or supervising junior team members
Established network of contacts within the local property market
Familiarity with CRM/property management software (e.g. Reapit, Vebra, Rightmove/Zoopla admin tools)

Pay: £13.00-£15.00 per hour
