Job description

We are seeking reliable and dedicated Passenger Assistant’s to join our team to cover school runs across Norfolk and Suffolk. The successful candidate will be escorting special educational needs Students. We pride ourselves on our commitment to ensure a positive and secure travel experience for all our passengers.

This Job is ideal for Semi Retired and Retired People.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Student Transportation:

Assisting Children during boarding and disembarking from the vehicle. Also Assisting and coordinating with the driver wherever needed and possible in a manner that ensures the safety and comfort of children.

2. Safety Compliance:

Ensuring all Children are safely secured with appropriate seatbelts and Harness. Also always adhering to safety protocols and procedures of the company to maintain a secure environment.

3. Communication:

Communicating effectively with children, parents, school staff and office team regarding any specific needs or concerns.

4. Student Supervision:

Providing emotional support and encouragement to children throughout their journey, by understanding their needs and assisting them when needed and Supervising the passenger until they are handed over to the school team or parents.

5. Record Keeping:

Maintain accurate records of any incidents that occur during transport.

Key Requirements:

1. Clean DBS is a Must (Successful applicants will have a Enhanced DBS done)

2. First aid certification is a plus.

3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

4. A compassionate and patient attitude, with a commitment to supporting children.

5. Ability to work effectively as part of a team as well as independently.

6. Experience working with children, particularly those with special educational needs, is highly desirable.

Key Benefits:

1. All required licences, certificates and trainings will be arranged by the company

2. Home Pick up and drop off provided.

3. Work hours starts as soon you get picked up from home until dropped off (fully paid).

4. School Term Time work

5. Part Time Hours 15-25 hours a week

6. Monday to Friday (Split Shifts, 2-5 hours a day)

7. Holiday Pay

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £12.71-£13.00 per hour

Work Location: On the road
